Blue Hole Falls

On Cedar Creek, a 75′ slanting cascade descends into a beautiful blue pool—hence the name. A moderate 30-minute hike deposits you in this wilderness setting.

Directions: W. of Walhalla on Hwy. 28 for 6.6 miles; left onto Whetstone Road for .8 miles; left on Cassidy Bridge Rd. for .9 miles; left on Rich Mountain Rd for 3.3 miles; right on Cedar Creek Rd for 2.5 miles to FS 2658 and park on right by earth mound. Hike .3 miles down FS 2658 to “T” intersection; turn right for .2 mile to short steep path leading down to the creek. Cross the creek and follow faint path downstream to waterfall.
