A relatively easy 20-minute hike brings viewers to a mix of turbulent whitewater and relaxing flat water. The Narrows drops 25′ during a 200′ run down, as in class VI rapid.
Directions: W of Walhalla on Hwy. 28 for 6.6miles; left on Whetstone Road for 3.8 miles; to Blackwell Bridge—park beyond bridge. Hike .6 mile downstream to the falls on a faint path paralleling the river.
