It isn’t the height that makes this falls special (12′) but the 100′ wide span (classified as a Class VI whitewater rapid). This moderate 1 mile hike wanders through a hardwood forest.
Directions: W of Westminster on Hwy. 76 for 7.5 miles; right on Cobb Bridge Road for 1.4 miles; left on Spy Rock Road for 2 miles; right on FS 748C. At end of the road, follow short trail to falls.
