South Cove County Park is located on the southern tip of the beautiful clear, blue waters of Lake Keowee. The Park gives easy access to the lake whether it’s for boating, swimming, camping or just plain relaxing. The Park has two boat ramps for fast loading and unloading of boats and often hosts bass fishing tournaments where pros and amateurs compete to catch largemouth and small-mouth bass.
The amenities of this Park are numerous including 88 RV and camping sites with full hookups, a bathhouse and a dump station on site. Forty-six campsites are right on the water’s edge, providing beautiful vistas and relaxing breezes. The beach and swim area (no lifeguard, all water activities are at your own risk) are level and gradual, making it ideal for small children. With tennis courts, playground equipment, putt-putt golf, and picnic shelters, the Park is great for day visitors and campers alike.
